Volunteer Staff
Thank you for having an interest in joining our crew. With a growing database of information and life, sometimes things do not always get updated when they should and are eventually forgotten about in the chaos. We are always willing to get help to change details or have other contribute to the collections. However because of the size of the collections we need people who are willing and able to handle the work load and who can withstand a changing schedule without notices. Anyone can apply as long as you can type/speak English, please no Myspace chat or 1337 text.
Job Trial:
Volunteer positions last for 1 month and then it is the volunteer’s decision whether or not they would like to become a permanent member of staff or if they’d like to remain a volunteer.
What’s the difference between permanent member and volunteer member, you ask? As a volunteer member you will be doing whatever jobs you’ve specifically applied for, whereas a permanent member of staff is expected to remain active…by helping keep the place in order (ie: posting, keeping an eye on and answering comments, etc).
However, all permanent additions to staff must meet admin approval before you’re completely official =D.
If you decide to stay you will become official staff with an official email (ie: chosenusername@jrockvisual.com).

- Graphic Designer
Job: Make banners, wallpapers, icons, etc.
Requirement(s): Examples of previous work. Image Editing program.
Amount of time needed: Part-time (up to 3 times a week).
- Researcher/Reporter This Position is Closed
Job: Research and add new information to our database via posting or profiles.
Requirement(s): Ability to type in English and use of the grammar. Examples of writing capabilities needed.
Amount of time needed: Full-time (more than 3 times a week).
- Scans and Media Manager
Job: Scan and upload own image scans from magazines, booklets, etc. Must be your own.
Requirements: Scanner and media resources.
Amount of time needed: Part-time (up to 3 times a week).
- Profiles Manager
Job: Updating the 50+ profiles archive with new updates from bands.
Requirements: Ability to type in English, able to research, and use of the grammar. Examples of writing capabilities needed. An image editing program.
Amount of time needed: Part-time (up to 3 times a week).
- Myspace and Birthday Manager
Job: To find birthdays and Myspaces of bands.
Requirements: None.
Amount of time needed: Part-time (up to 3 times a week).
- Lyrics Translator
Job: Ability to read/write/translate from Japanese to English
Requirements: Knowledge of Japanese to English translations. Examples needed.
Amount of time needed: Part-time (up to 3 times a week).
